Historical Data Missing From Charts

It's getting even more crazy: if you choose Range Charts instead of standard Candle charts (with the FDAX for example), the historical data problem disappears. Switch back from Range to Candle charts and bang, the data from last Friday is missing again.

That's funny. During the ZenFire debacle NT came out smelling of roses. The CEO got actively involved in reassuring NT customers of their dedication to customer service. He took various steps, liaised with Mirus, kept posting updates etc etc.Originally posted by perryg View PostAs things seem to be, nobody seems to be bothered at Ninja, from the CEO down.
Where is he now?
What assurance is he willing to make to alleviate our current concerns about this recurring problem?

You're missing the point. Ninja historical data has been free and reliable for years. If this is no longer the case, it has to be clearly communicated by Ninja.Originally posted by mic.o8o View PostLifetime license is for software. Commissions are a part of this business. Where does it say they have to offer this for free. It has always been marketed as such. If you want reliable data, pay for it.

To be fair this is free data we are talking about here. If your trading relies heavily on historical data get a backup data feed. DTN offers great data. What if they decided that offering free historical data wasn't worth it anymore? Where would we be then?

This should be done at least til the beginning of the Pit-Session.
This should not happen AGAIN. It is known for a couple of weeks but still not resolved.

Exactly ....
This is our livelihoods!! ... not some website that we can just come back tomorrow!!
Why would it take an entire day to collect the data and restore it to the servers? We need Fridays data now!! ... tomorrow it won't be as important ...
Tomorrow I will need TODAY'S !!! ...do you get it !!! >>???
Daily Pivots and Volume Profile must have prior days data ....
This should have been tested the second the markets opened on Sunday....

First the Zen-Fire debacle and now this. Not a single week goes by without an issue with the historical data servers. This is simply unacceptable. How many more weeks will it take until this problem is solved for good? No platform is perfect, but if a data problem occurs it must be solved in a matter of minutes, not days.
