Him Jim - Please add my vote too. Moving to C# 7.3 (latest C# version for .NET Framework 4.8) will bring us developers a lot of nice syntactic sugar that reduces the amount of code needed. i.e. (null conditional operator). I understand that I we can use a later C# version in our DLLs, however most of development I do is in the NT custom DLL, where it's currently limited.

C# 9 and .NET Framework 5, please. It would be desirable for upgrades in these areas to be scheduled for integration within 6 months of their release.
