    Public beta and Remotesoft

    Now that NT7 is released to the public, what is the status with Remotesoft Protector? Now users are going to be asking for NT7 versions of their indicators. Any update would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan

    We are working with RemoteSoft to try and package a custom version they provided to us mid-year 2009 that we beleive works without issue. They have agreed and said they have already built an installer but were are in the midst of reviewing some questions with them about any possible conflict with Windows 7 and/or .NET 4.0. We are awaiting a response from them in the next day or so and hope to have further udpate after that.

        Update:

        - Remotesoft will make available a version of their Protector software to NinjaTrader users (let's call it 3.1) that we have tested and seems to work error free (as it stands now)
        - Please contact Remotesoft to get this version
        - Next, you will need Beta 14 or later (we plan to release Beta 14 in the next few days)
        - With Beta 14 and this specific Protector version, you can export and protect your assemblies and distribute to Beta 14 or greater users

          this guy @ remotesoft is a mess...

          I send him a detailed error report concerning the x64 version of protector. Never got an answer back.
          For me only the x86 protection works fine, x64 not useable yet.
          I don't envy him for debugging ...

            Will this protector version also work with NT 6.5, or will I need to install and unistall the two versions alternately?

                Our tests showed Protector V3.1 should work with NT6.5 as well. However, since we are neither the vendor nor the builder of Protector I suggest you run your own tests to be sure it works for you as well.

                  You need to get that particular V3.1 which only is available since recently.

                    I have Protector v4 installed, I guess that it does not work, and that I have to install Protector v3.1 instead?

                    In case that I need to install v3.1., how can I get it, as Remotesoft did not answer my mail so far?
