    Fwiw, a client called Remotesoft and the client's impression was that Huihong preferred that method of contact to allow him to qualify customers for the Ninja edition of Protector. Perhaps he then cross references your name with names provided by Ray.

        OK,

        this time I got him on the phone and he sent me the v31 link email.

        I have an installer error 28## though, so I must use some trick to retrieve the desired executable.
        (also v4 protector has the same install error on w7, who knows...)

          You needed to disable UAC (user account control) to install. Don't have details nor link right now but googling will help.

            just for the records,

            I used v3.1 on all my stuff and tested many combinations of my protected assemblies (including NTMT) with big workspaces also on Windows 7/64bit.

            No bugs, no poblems, all working like a charm , as supposed to.

                  Tried several e-mails now - no response. Tried to phone him several times, only got a voice message system. Not really good.

                    Finally, after 17 days, got a mail reply today with the installation link for the Salamander Protector v 3.1 - he is alive!

                      Hello Guys,

                      i read this thread. Am i understand correctly that there are three version?
                      1. v3.0
                      2. v3.1
                      3. v4
                      i have purchased v3.0 (this is in download link) in january. Do i have to pay for v3.1?

                      One more question:i think Ray or Dierk wrote, that v4 is not supported. Does this mean that

                      - it does not work in NT if i build dll from NT and works if i build from VS
                      - it does not matter from where i build it does not work

                        You may need to pay for v3.1.
                        v4 is completely not supported for use with NinjaTrader.

                            Have tested Remotesoft v3.1 with NT 7.0.0.15 No problems, everything worked fine so far. But need to do some further tests.

                              Hi Ray,

                              I am in Western Australia and I am unable to contact RemoteSoft to secure a license to their Protector product. I have a beta team waiting impatiently for a release so they can start doing system testing. Can you please contact me on Skype paul.b.cahill to assist in getting a license.

                              As the RemoteSoft business seems to be a part time enterprise, can you organise to sub-license their product so we may get it quickly directly from NinjaTrader's web site?

                              NT7 now requires the Protector product. Not being able to source this essential product easily reflects badly on your excellent product and it detracts from the excellent service I receive via this forum which is maintained very professionally where as it appears that RemoteSoft is not being run as a professional organisation as they do not respond to email and do not answer their phone.
