My sarcasm meant by posting originally was to insinuate that they NT have no intent on even offering this connection anymore being as that they are so lazy they did not bother to change their website 1. to acknowledge the company changed to Schwab not TDA 2. or simply remove TDA anyway doesn't really matter just one of the hundreds of things NT has done over the years that show how truly unprofessional they are, it's all about them internally not about the customer. Which is sad but True.
    Even so this still exists.

backtester831 Does this mean going back to the TDA driver but it connects to Schwab somehow? Does anyone have a sense of when the new version arrives?

          Hello all,

As mentioned we are getting the new TDA/Schwab adapter ready for release in the next version of the platform, at which time these threads will be updated. Currently we are in the final stages of testing for this adapter and hope to have it launched soon. This broker will continue to be supported once this version comes out as any other 3rd party brokerage is currently supported.

We apologize for the delay and thank you all for your patience as we finalize this release.

Thank you! Is there an estimate when the next version will be released?

Unfortunately we aren't able to give accurate estimates as to when releases are expected to be available to users, as it varies widely how long a release goes through internal testing and the resulting development time to address any issues that may come up. We hope to release before the new year however.

I set up the Schwab connection in the new version of Ninjatrader. It shows I'm connected but my Schwab account is not showing up in Control Center. Anyone else having this problem?

Version 8.1.4.0 was released yesterday with a Schwab connection (beta) in the new version. Log into the Ninjatrader website at:

and click on Download on the left side of the screen to download the new version. The release notes shows the Schwab connection (beta) is feature #47. I was able to get the connection to Schwab to work but my account wouldn't show up in the Control Center. In the release notes I now see that it says: "Trading to Schwab requires the Multiple Broker add-on, available within the Plans section of the Client Dashboard.".

It looks like the Multiple Broker Add-On for Desktop Platform is $99 a month. So now we have to spend $99 a month to be able to use the Schwab connection???? Ninja Support please respond to this.

I see it now. Sorry. Did you have to take a backup of NT8??

I don't see my account either but am connected. I do have multi-provider though. I used to connect to TD without the extra multi broker fee. Why do we have this additional fee now.

NinjaTrader_RyanS Please confirm that: If you already made a one-time purchase of NT software in the past and currently have a Mutli-Broker Live license you should not be paying $99 per month.

Has anyone here actually was able to use Schwab data from the new NT8.1.4 version for intraday charts and place any trades (Sim, or Live) in a Schwab account?

                              Thanks!

If your Schwab account is not visible in the Control Center > Accounts tab after connecting, please ensure you are subscribed to the Multi-Broker Add-On on your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard. This add-on is required to view or trade your Schwab account within NinjaTrader.

Additionally, Legacy license key holders who were able to connect to supported 3rd party brokers will have the proper entitlements to connect, see, and trade the live 3rd party brokerage account on NinjaTrader version 8.1. On NinjaTrader version 8.0, a paid Lease or Lifetime license key was required to connect and trade any 3rd party brokerage accounts. As version 8.1 does not require a license key, new users would need to purchase the Multi Broker add-on to see and trade the live account after connecting. This add-on replaced the need to purchase a Lease or Lifetime license key in March of 2023. If you were previously able to trade your 3rd party brokerage account on the NinjaTrader platform, you do not need to purchase Multi Broker and you should have an existing license key. If you have a license key for TDA but cannot see your live account after connecting, please make sure that you have imported your license key to your NinjaTrader username.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance with the subscription/importing of license key process. We’re happy to help!
