Is Ninja trader able to be used with Schwab after TDA to Schwab change-over?

Thank you for contacting Schwab Trader API. We are currently working with Ninja Trader and other commercial applications for review, approval, and integration into the Schwab Trader API endpoint. We are in the process of finalizing the documentation so we can provide this to Ninja Trader to do the technical integration into the new Schwab offering. Once they integrate into our Trader API you would be able to connect your Schwab brokerage account to their platform. There are no further updates at this time.

I have no update from our technology team at this time to update unfortunately.

In the absence of technology team support, one wonders if NinjaTrader has actually filed an application with Schwab and is aware that such a thing as "Schwab Trader API" actually exists and is supposedly being finalized for integration by NinjaTrader (who knows by when). Also, wondering if NinjaTrader can confirm at least this much of information.

Schwab -TDA migration will end in June 2024. Whether their API, if any, gets integrated into NinjaTrader remains to be seen (before Schwab is sold to someone else).

I can confirm our team has received documentation from TDA/Schwab on the new API, but I cannot estimate a timetable as to when this will be completed and through testing for a future release. As soon as I have any concrete information from our team I will update this thread asap.

OK, no timetable, but hopefully that is not like building a Noah's Arc.

But, can you confirm that now the ball is in NinjaTrader's court to come up with a fuctional API. The other question is will the API work for other NT 8.0 versions (i.e. 8.0.27) since many license holders have issues with newer 8.1 versions.

yeah, tell the dev team to hurry up and finish that udemy programming course. Maybe this time around they'll learn what dockable windows are and drag and drop in a GUI.

It is already 8 months and nothing happened yet

Maybe this time around they can make an API connection that actually fills 1 minute vol bars in real time. It was impossible to day trade off the old TDA connection 1 min. chart, because you never knew what the one minute trading volume was. Was interest in the volatile stock going down or up in real time?- You never could tell.
