    Ninjatrader Demo versión shows wrong Bid and Ask in real time.

    Hello, I am using the Demo version of ninjatrader 8.0.27.1, I also tried it with 8.0.26.1.

    I am using a translator.

    The problem is that when using a footprint to see the orderflow using tickreplay, the data received is messed up in real time, I have tried the same addons with the same data connection in the lifetime version of ninjatrader 8.0.27.1 and it works correctly, I have even carried out tests with the CQG DEMO data connection provided by ninjatrader and in both modalities of the platform, LifeTime and Demo, in the DEMO it goes wrong in real time and in the LifeTime it goes well.

    In the case of ninjatrader 8 Demo, in real time, it marks the bid and Ask incorrectly, when reloading the historical data the historical bars are adjusted and the real-time ones continue to be marked incorrectly.

    This is serious, I tried it on two different computers and had the same result.

    This means that no OrderFlow indicator is working correctly in the Demo version of ninjatrader.​

    Could you please send us your log & trace files? I'd like to take a look at what the platform reports as this data is being received.

    If possible, a screenshot showing this discrepancy would also help us greatly in tracking this down.

      ​I am sending two images, in one there are two bars (LifeTime Version of Ninjatrader 8), one of the native FootPrint of Ninjatrader and the other bar of the addons that I use to carry out the tests in the Demo Version, in the other image (DEMO Version of Ninjatrader) there is only the bar with the Addon and it marks incorrectly, these data were captured in real time without reloading the historical data, when reloading the historical data the values of the bars are correctly adjusted in the Demo version, in the LifeTime Version they stay the same.

      I exchanged the Data connections and the problem persists in the Demo version of ninjatrader, I also tried with CQG Demo from the Ninjatrader page and the same thing happened in the Demo version of Ninjatrader (Bid and Ask are displayed wrong).

      I have 2 days waiting for a response from Support after sending the files that you are requesting.

      If you want I can send them again.​

                    El problema podría ser la capacidad de su red, o el rendimiento de su sistema.

                    Por lo general, los problemas de rendimiento se deben a que el espacio de trabajo sobrecarga demasiado los recursos del ordenador. Aunque hay muchas cosas que pueden afectar al rendimiento, a continuación se indican las causas más comunes que pueden solucionarse sin alterar la funcionalidad del espacio de trabajo.

                    Para gráficos basados en ticks o gráficos con indicadores que utilizan datos de ticks, asegúrese de limitar los "días para cargar" al menor número posible, preferiblemente menos de 3 si es posible. Para ello, haga clic con el botón derecho del ratón en el gráfico, seleccione "series de datos" y reduzca la opción "días para cargar".
                    Cierre los gráficos que no utilice y elimine los indicadores innecesarios.
                    Asegúrese de que sólo un espacio de trabajo está abierto a la vez. Pase el ratón sobre el icono de NinjaTrader 8 en la barra de tareas de Windows para ver si sus gráficos están allí. Puede abrir otros espacios de trabajo yendo al Centro de Control -> Espacios de Trabajo -> Haga clic en el espacio de trabajo que desea abrir. Si no está seguro de lo que significa esta lista y de cómo saber si un espacio de trabajo está abierto, a la vista o cerrado, visite el siguiente enlace de la guía de ayuda:
                    Operaciones > Centro de control > Menú Espacios de trabajo
                    Si utiliza 'Tick Replay', intente desactivarlo en tantos gráficos como sea posible.

                    Si sigue experimentando problemas, es posible que un código personalizado en particular esté causando un problema de rendimiento. Si sospecha que este es el caso, normalmente recomendamos eliminar cualquier script que sospeche que pueda estar causando un problema para ver si el problema persiste sin él.

                    They gave me an answer without telling me that they carried out some type of tests, they only reviewed the files that I sent them and that is not enough to verify what I am describing.

                    I am using the same parameters, same equipment, same indicator, same data, I only change the License, Bid and Ask, error in Demo, Bid and Ask correct in LifeTime.

                      Hi, recently me and a colleague have detected the same problem...same platform, identical version 8.0.26.1, identical indicators and configuration, identical data provider. One of us uses the lifetime version of the platform and the other one, the demo platform (both with Rithmicc), and the delta indicator and cluster values differ from each other. They do NOT mark the same quantities and the clusters are organized differently. I see that this thread is identical to the problem I have. Is there any kind of solution to this? thanks in advance

                        Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

                        As these issues were specific to a third-party indicator, we were not able to recreate them on our side. If you are using the same indicator and experience the same issues, I would suggest reaching out to the developer of this indicator as they might have further information of what might cause this discrepancy.

                        Are you also able to recreate this when using NinjaTrader-internal indicators?

                          Hello NinjaTrader_Manfred, I am a developer of indicators for Ninjatrader, I have tested my addons (which works perfectly in the LifeTime version) in the Demos version of Ninjatrader and it shows these problems, IT IS ONLY IN REAL TIME, IN THE HISTORY EVERYTHING APPEARS CORRECT, sorry that write in capital letters, but yes, I'm yelling, because it's a serious problem, I hope you're not trying to get rid of the problem, please find a solution to what I'm kindly commenting on.

                          It is not possible to test with native Ninjatrader indicators, since OrderFlow is disabled in the Demo version of the Platform, so it is necessary to test with third-party indicators, but I repeat "These indicators with which I am testing on the DEMO version of Ninjatrader 8, they work PERFECTLY in the LifeTime version of Ninjatrader 8" so I am sure that the problem is not with the external addon, as I indicate I am a Developer and I have made impressions in "Ninja Script Output" and they are incorrect in real time in the Demo, and they are Correct in the LifeTime version.

                          Please don't keep ignoring this problem even though no one seems to have noticed...​

                            Hello. I have a problem with displaying bid and ask data in real time. , I am using platform version ninjatrader 8.1.1.1 - DEMO
                            I use an ordinary indicator to determine the Delta in the candle !!! unfortunately, in real time, the indicator shows a bad Delta on the charts, when I push "Reload ALL Historical Data" - then the Delta is redrawn absolutely correctly... I compare the Delta results with another account in the LIFE TIME
                            (Tick Replay is always on)​

                              Confirming the complaints above. Version 8.1.11 in DEMO is giving wrong bid and ask values - thus making delta calculation useless. This happens only in real-time, after Reload All Historical Data the reloaded data gives correct (and VERY different from real-time) information. Was using 8.0.24.3 before upgrade, and this problem did not occur. It looks like a bug introduced between 8.0.24.3 and 8.0.27.1 (according to the first post). Please take care

                              Added: This apparently happens in Free version of NinjaTrader. It may (and probably is according to the posts above) be correct in Lifetime version

                              Added: I am calculating delta with custom bars - just like Volumetric bars are calculated. I did not test OnMarketData or OnBarUpdate (with GetCurrentBid/Ask), but they should show this problem as well
