Thanks NinjaTrader_Brett -- truly appreciate your steadfast support. Nevertheless, how can we ensure this never happens again? Is there a way we can get a real-time status page for Kinetick users and/or a better alert system for this kind of outage?

i tried very hard to keep all binaries in x64. Introducing a x86, especially 2012 x86, surely corrupts my trading OS. I had the experience before that some softwares would load this x86 even though x64 exists. That was a nightmire. This IQFeed installs the MVC++ x86 very old version without asking for permission and yes, this x86 2012 is found under Apps. I will uninstall this weekend. Wishfully it's a clean uninstallation.
BTW, I am not able to download any historical data from IQFeed as well as it took ages and never completes. I had to close the download window. Hope my database is not corrupted by it. Without last week's historical data, I was not able to do any analysis for trading...

We have no issues with using IQfeed client. Our algos run 24/6 on it with no issues.

ninjatrader of course no problem. otherwise, it wouldnt posted the link in the connection page. somehow, as i had painful experiences before, installing an "outdated" redistributable causes headaches and may induce system issues (memory leak etc) or problems in other 3rd party applications. i dont get it why the iqfeed installer didnt ask for permission first. intrigued...

kenyee65 Make sure your trial has not ended, it should last 2 weeks. If you can not use your demo credentials, please request a new demo using a different email.

                Kind regards.
