NT8 Charts Lags and Delays - Need a solution ASAP

1: Why would it be by design that my trend channels constantly move & need to be re adjusted on a Tick or Volume chart? It makes absolutely no sense

Because they're anchored by their date/time with a 1-second resolution, and tick and volume charts can have more than one bar per second, and as new bars arrive in the same second as (or before) the endpoint, they would appear to shift? Note especially that hand-drawn drawing tools are not anchored by bar number.

You can minimize the effect of this by not setting your endpoint past the last bar. If you set it in the "future" area of the chart, you will have this happen for sure, so don't do that.

I haven't updated NT to any the latest versions but is the issue moving trend channels when volatility picks up still an issue?

Yes, I assume that it is, if you still add them programmatically and set the right end point past the last bar then more bars arrive.
