    CCI 4 Range Bars

I just uploaded a CCI that splits the last bar's line into high and low close lines providing a new look at the CCI Forecast.

Check it out. It really is kinda cool.

    Enjoy.

I believe I fixed the problem with a new upload this weekend. Have you tried it?

Note it was edited on 2/5 when the upload took place. Once we get the bugs ironed out I'll post it to the Indicator Forum.

If you are using the Autotrader, this WILL break it. I will put together a fix when the indicator is solid.

            Snap,

Great of you for sharing so much. As I noted before, the most recent beta will not install (at least in my case) and gives error that a similar file exists in NT archive folder. I have the earlier beta installed under the same name and is attached to a number of templates. I edited the newest beta and modified the name and it was manually installed as a new indicator. A couple of suggestions you may wish to consider for future:

            - Use a distinct name for any new beta or revision - Makes house keeping much easier.
            - I can change the thickness of an individual trend line but not a global change
            - Simultaneous signals overlay one another (i.e. an S is hidden behind a Z, etc. or a G and F) can we somehow avoid this overlay and show both signals.
            - Can we just show the signal letters Fb, Zb Gb, etc. without the white background and the letter box with an option to dynamically peg them above or below the CCI line or the 100 and 200 lines by a couple of points?

            Thanks a bunch.

Snaphook, great work. It's the small things that make life (trading) better. I took a look at your CCI and think it's great. I know of some guys out there, dancing with the markets, who would kill to have it.

I updated to NT7 beta 3 and the CCI Forecaster loads just fine. Look at your Log tab to see if it has an error message. Also, if you are using the beta in this thread download it again as I corrected a minor error on the date of the last edit to that message.

                            Hi Snaphook,

Thank you for the cci4range work. I just installed it and for some reason I'm not getting the red and green "arms" like in the image attached to one of your posts. I can see only red and green dots. What Am i missing?

                            Thanks in advance,
