        yes it does...

i upgraded my .20 to .23 finally and it works fine...perhaps you dont have the forecaster for version 7.0

I do have it for V7 but I got an error when I loaded .23 stating that the .cs file wouldnt compile. I removed the forecaster indicator and compiled my indicators and everything was fine. Then I tried to install the forecaster and got an error.

Jason sounds like u know more then the average bear about NT.. What was the error message at the bottom of the compiler?

I just compiled it on RC1 (aka beta 23) w/o errors. gg80108 is right. Can you post the error at the bottom of the compile window? Also, make sure you have downloaded the latest version. There was a change to v7 scripting that caused the error at bar 34. The latest v has corrected that, though.

OK. I got it to work. Looks like the problem was my install of RC1 of NT. I'm using a 64bit OS and NT wouldnt install correctly unless I deleted the NT folder in 'my documents' and deleted the NT folder in the programs folder...then installed NT. The CCI_forecaster works fine now.

                    Sling Shot

I have begun work on updating the CCI Forecaster to include the old (and new?) Sling Shot pattern. I believe it includes a reject of the zero line by the CCI, though not necessarily a ZLR, and a reject of the opposing 100 line by the turbo. If anyone knows any specific parameters I would love to hear what they are so we can get this as accurate as possible.

                        Thanks Snaphook.
I think the next range bar projection values and the actual price value (all on a horizontal line printed below the -200 Sidewinder) would be a great enhancement.
Vertical orientation , aside from te chart takes takes too much space and reduces the effective charting area.

Sounds like a new indicator panel project to me.

                            Snaphook,

I have noticed that ZLR's are triggering when the sidewinder indicator is red. Is this written into the code? According to Woodie, ZLR's are not supposed to be taken on red sidewinder, only on yellow or green.

                              Jason,
Thanks for the heads up. There must have been a minor WCCI coding change that affected the Forecaster v6.5 to v7. I have located the problem and will upload a new version shortly with other improvements/mods. Until then, please ignore red SW ZLRs.

                                Snaphook,

I noticed that there is no setting within the forecaster to change the sidewinder limits being used.

                                My questions are:

What are the correct limit0 and limit1 settings in the actual WoodiesCCI indicator ? (it defaults to 60 and 100)

Is there a way to set different limits in the forecaster?

What settings are the forecaster using?

                                ----

Is this why it was showing ZLR's on a red sidewinder?
I always notice that my sidewinder is consistently different than the room charts.
