2)yes is the answer, all of them have to be same panel 2 ( or non panel 1 anyway)

thank you snaphook (and others ) for all the excellent work put in so far that benefits all, especially newbies like me

      1) It makes no difference. Actually, the DataExporter zip also contains the Pattern Recognition as a result of the export process.
2)Put all your WCCI indicators together in the same panel
3)Yes, The CCI Forecaster contains only the Pattern Rec indicator, not the DataExporter
4)Yes, the DataExporter serves only to facilitate collecting data for statistical analysis.

Looks like you had all the correct answers. Just not sure if they were correct.

thank you for the reply. Yes, I had the answers, just not sure if they were the right ones.

For future reference by others, so does it mean that one really have to download and install the CCIPatternRecognitionDataExporter.zip only (as it contains both the DataExporter and also contains the Pattern Recognition)?

        thanks

Technically, yes, however, if there is an update to the Forecaster that would not affect the DataExporter, I would probably not update the DataExporter so it would be best to install the DataExporter and then the Forecaster to assure you have the latest version of the Forecaster.

is this a valid TT short?

            hi all,

please see screen capture, at 1115 bar there was a Tb ie TT short bottom indicated, but the cci value was about 16, it has not crossed the zero line, so it cannot be a TT , right?..or am I missing something here. thanks all

              khoon,
Looking at the screen shot it appears that you are using the Forecaster with time or tick bars (High=200.5, Low=200.2 and Close=200.4). The forecaster only works on range bar charts because there is no way to forecast where a time bar will close like there is with range bars.

I'll see if I still have an old version w/o the forecast capability. This would be suitable for non-range bar charts.

Edit: I have attached an old version that does not have the forecaster capability and will only signal when a pattern is valid, not when a pattern is possible. It is totally unsupported and I make no guarantees, though it worked at time of development. It should work with non-range bar charts, though I did not test it on them.

oops...silly me, I am using time bars for that pic capture and forecaster v1.4.

So the WoodiesPatterns_v2.0.zip which you posted has which version of the forecaster in it?

Am i correct to say that I cannot install both at the same time? I was thinking if I use time bars, than load the forecaster version? and when I use range bars load the forecaster v1.4 ;-)

thanks again for your help and advise.

Yes, you can use them both. The old one will be found as Woodies Patterns. Use 2 panels, 2 Woodies CCI, 2 Panels, etc.

I have uploaded a new file, so if you downloaded it a few minutes ago, download it again. It is the same file, but the other one will not import because I manually deleted a file from the archive.

                    thank you once again snaphook.

sorry, I do not understand what you meant when you said 'Use 2 panels, 2 Woodies CCI, 2 Panels, etc.'

I simply meant that if you are going to use both on the same chart, you need to set up each separate panel with its own Woodies CCI, Pattern indicator and a panel, if you got it from Woodie's site.

wrong TT pattern in forecaster in 6e range bar

                        hi snaphook,

think i found another possible wrong TT signal, this time in 6e range bar chart

Well, it's a good signal, but it should not be there. The bar closed green but had it closed red, I bet there would have been a 0 line cross making it a valid TT signal. What is the range of the chart?

The signals are supposed to be removed for top of bar signals if the current price is in the bottom 10% of the bar and for bottom of bar signals if it is in the top 90%. It is possible the move to the next candle was quick enough that the chart reached the next bar before the code could execute. This may happen if there is a gap between trades. NT fills the gap with the rest of the bar so you won't see it. I have seen thi in gold where there was a 37 tick gap between trades.

Hit F5 to refresh the chart and see if the signal goes away, although it may not reappear after a restart.

                              Hello There

I am new at Ninja, uploaded woddie cci panel and it has some text in yellow - which is very hard for me to see - support said it is not possible to change the color of the text - any one has any suggestions how to change it a darker orange so I could see it on a white background
                              thank you

What does the text say and where is it located?
