    >> an alternative would be to find out what is the problem with v4 and NT7!
We spent A LOT of time figuring out that V3.1 works and V4 does NOT. V3.1 is the path to go. We cannot afford to put thousands of users at risk on trying to get again V4 to work (that's what we already tried in the past) as V3.1 works fine.

If you prefer trying something different, then please do so at your own risk. We will not invest any time on that nor will put the existing (beta) user base at risk.

Ray and myself are working in order to get your hands on V3.1 as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience on that matter.

    Ray,

an alternative would be to find out what is the problem with v4 and NT7!
Why does only NT7 have a problem with remotesoft v4 and not also other .NET applications?
One must just digg a bit deeper into all this, and I am convinced that one could make both compatible. (I would expect thread syncronization isssues the cause of all this)

Mr. Huihong Luo 's product(s) demonstrate that he has a very deep understanding of .Net. . Remotesoft v4 is the future and the way to go anyway. So why not invest more time in NinjaTrader debugging while it is still in the beta phase?

    regards
    Andreas

    I used [email protected] .

Huihong used this for all his communications. Last time he answered a mail was about 4 weeks ago, when he sent me a link with the Remotesoft Protector v4.

I used this in the past for ordering.

    [email protected]

Then communications from him were using this address.

    [email protected]

That is the one I used to inquire about 3.1 custom, with no answer.

How to get that famous release v 3.1.?

So we are all Remotesoft customers, but cannot get hold of this famous release 3.1. Does it exist? Does Remotesoft exist? All our mails have not been answered for weeks. So we are at least confused, as you suggest us to use something that is not available.

    RemoteSoft ready yet?

Thanks guys. So the latest RemoteSoft release (v. 4.0) does work with NT7, but only (or at least best) if NT7 starts up with no protected indicators on chart? That is, we can buy Protector v4, create protected files, send them out, but warn users not to load them as part of default workspaces?

    Thanks for your help.

In my situation it looks like a timing problem at startup only. Then I get UnhandledExceptions in threadStart etc.

the protected v4 code runs fine once the startup was successfull. (=> Startup without protected indicators, then load them in the running NT)

I have less problems (same code ) on my faster PC.

Seems that the slower laptop is more susceptible to the timing issues at startup.

Still no reply here too. It would be nice if NT had a spot to enter a command line or two which would execute when exporting Object code. Then users could use whatever form of protection they want, including having Protector obfuscate AND protect if the obfuscater was installed.

You always could go for the endeavor to find your own way to protect you assemblies. However, NT only supports RemoteSoft protector.
