Ninja Crush after open OBS Studio

    Hello ,
I have a NinjaTrader 8, and everything now seems to work perfectly, except when I open OBS Studio V31, and that is when Ninja8 crashes, opening hundreds and thousands of error messages that completely block Ninja and if Ninja does not close, they end up blocking the PC. It occurs to me that it could be some port problem, since the problem occurs at the exact moment when OBS Studio opens, I have reinstalled Windows 11 and the exact same problem continues to happen. Can someone help me? I use OBS Studio to record my NninjaTrader 8 trades.
    Thank you!!!!

    Hello gutavobp,

    Thank you for the message.

Since this behavior only happens after opening OBS Studio, you will have to reach out to their support team and ask them why their software is causing NinjaTrader to crash.

Otherwise, you could stop using OBS which would stop causing NinjaTrader to crash.

If you try using the basic "Windows Snipping Tool" to capture a video, do things still crash?

Let me guess 8.1.X version? Because on 8.0 I've never had any problems with OBS.

FWIW OBS worked with NT7. When 8.0 was first released it did not work with OBS as NT7 had. Something to do with Ninja's use of .wpf, which was new in 8 iirc

8.1.3+ no longer works with Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), which 8.0.28 and all earlier NT8 and 7 releases have.
        See here..... https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...oduced-problem

And, hmmmm curiouser, see here..... https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...dow-nt-8-1-3-1

I use multiple monitors. LGS uses Windows' multiple monitors Virtual Desktop - which is what determines location of things such as Config Window pop up.....
Taken/quoted from the above post: "I figured out what the issues is: for some reason config window pops-up on another monitor with coordinates relative to the chart window. If I relocate the chart to the top monitor - it will open config window outside of the visible area."
Causing ".....all windows stop listening to mouse input" - until - "when I press enter, focus and mouse input returns to normal which leads me to believe that the indicators config window opens but it's invisible and pressing enter closes it." (behaviour confirmed)

Eerily similar to when I open 8.1.4, (following is my editing of the behaviour reported in the prior thread)
"LGS stop(s) listening to mouse input" (whilst and only whilst 8.1.3+ is running until) "I Close Ninja - focus and mouse input/LGS returns to normal".

LGS moves the mouse pointer to Windows' multi-monitor Virtual Desktop coordinates (MouseMouseRelative, MoveMouseVirtual etc). Sounds what I’m experiencing is eerily similar to a Config Window popping up at at a Relative Desktop virtual location which doesn’t exist on actual physical monitors in a multi-monitor Windows’ virtual desktop set up

        Or not.

        Curiouser and curiouser.....

        Best,
