New IB Version Required 1019.2

Hi all,

I am sure I am not the only one, but couldnt find any recent threads on this topic. Please help.

I was running on the (fairly old) offline version 981.3 for NT8 --> Yesterday I received the message1 attached

So I am downloading the current offline version given on your website, which is 1019.1 --> Now I receive message 2 attached (duh)

Could you kindly guide me to either the correct offline version 1019.2 or tell me how to handle this?

Hello,

Our development team is currently working on testing a new version of TWS to support with NinjaTrader 8 prior to this date. Until we are able to test and fully support this new version we recommend using the currently supported version however.

Does TWS 1023 work with NT8, esp in terms of data connectivity?

TWS 981 will become completely unusable from 18 Jul.

Hello,

Right now our development team is testing the compatibility and functionality of connecting to the current TWS build. While you likely can connect without issue it is currently not supported yet until our development team finishes testing this version.

So what do you advise ninjatrader clients who trade with IB TWS do ?
Upgrade IB TWS so that it is supported by IB, but NOT supported by ninjatrader ?
Or Remain at TWS 1019.1 so that it is supported by ninjatrader but NOT supported by IB.

I tried again and had to change browser to have that link for the connection guide work but I got it now.

so the version to upgrade to is TWS 1023.2a from the connection guide ? will try it out.

NT Dev team,

Cmom guys!, today is already July 16, and still no IB TWS update. This is something important and having many years with NinjaT, I remember that this was done very promptly with no problem. What's going on?

I upgraded to 8.0.28.0 64-bit and TWS 1023.2a and now i am getting this: Received unknown error/warning: Warnhinweis: Your API version does not support fractional share size rules. Please upgrade to a minimum version 163. Trimmed value 14.04 to 14. Could you please give out a version that is working? Or what do i have to do? to avoid these problems

Just tried IB TWS 10.23.2a with NT 8.0.28.0. Live data not loading.

Has anyone managed to use 10.23.2a for data successfully? I followed the NT connection guide but still no dice.

UPDATE: Also tried 10.19.2a. Some data load, others do not.
