An alert would be nice.
I would rather the system go completely down than let me continue trading and analyzing data that is incorrect or that does not exist.

All data should be backfilled at this time. If you are seeing a gap in data on a certain instrument, first try right clicking the chart and selecting 'reload historical data'.
If this does not resolve the gap, you may need to clear your historical data and cached data:
Removing Historical Data- Once the data has been deleted close NinjaTrader. Open the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder. Select all files then right mouse click and select “delete.”
- Open NinjaTrader and connect to your data provider. Open a new chart.
