How do I change my password

      Guys, traderpards is not the only one. I have a live NT key but do not have a NT Brokerage account. I just wanted to simply update to the latest version of NT8.0.28 (I still do not trust NT.8.1.1 with all the bugs). I was not able to dowonload with my current password and was asked to open an account (weird!) to do that. Story short, I was given several links that would send me back to the original link with no way to move foreward. I was in a long conversation with Support without any progress. At the end they sent me to their brokerage guy and had to restart the loop all over.

      I just gave up. They supposedly still support NT7 and NT8.1, but good luck to sign in for any updates. Here is the link, let me know if you all figure it out:

      I am running NT8.0.27.1 version and have not converted to version 8.1 yet. NinjaTrader Version 8.0.28.0 was released recently and I want to download it. I am already logged into NT 8.0.7.1 and I am being asked to log in again to download NT8.0.28. However, when I log in my ID and password are rejected and I am ask to login


      I think the new NT8.1 version is easier for newbies to open a new demo account but is a pain if you have a live key and no NT brokerage account. Wondring why NT does not make these revisions as an automatic process like other platforms (i.e.TOS) and let customer be worried about other things.

            I recently tried updating my platform, and, like you, ran into that loop of account creation even though I’ve got a live key. I found it so strange that they don’t let us just update without all the fuss. When I finally got through to support, I mentioned how other platforms, like TOS, do smooth updates without requiring anything extra. One tip I’d suggest—if you’re resetting your password, use something like a strong PIN generator or even a random pin generator. I started using those to make my passwords stronger and avoid some security hassle. Just wish NT made the whole process as automatic as other platforms!
