Kinetick data lagging

I emailed Kinetick support but haven't heard back yet.

Today my Kinetick data feed is lagging 3-5 minutes behind. Tried restarting Ninja a few times, nothing helps.

Thank you for your inquiry.

How exactly are you determining that it's 'lagging'?

So we can verify that it is not a third party add-on causing NinjaTrader to not work as expected, could you please start the platform in Safe Mode?

Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:

• Loading workspaces.
• Connecting on start-up.
• Loading custom assemblies.
• Getting instrument updates from the server.

To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:

• Exit NinjaTrader.
• Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
• Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
• You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:

• Reconnect to your data provider from the 'Connections' menu
• Please open a new chart with no custom bar types/indicators/templates and test for issues.

Does the 'lag' persist in Safe Mode?

It's lagging b/c it's not the current time. I am literally looking at bars that are not current.

I'll try safe mode.

Thank you for your reply.

Bear in mind that NinjaTrader time stamps bars with the END of the bar, so your bars may reflect a time that has not yet happened. However, if it seems that this is not what you are observing, try safe mode. Safe Mode will temporarily disable your third party add-ons and open the platform without your saved workspace. It sounds like a rendering delay may be occurring. Let me know the result after running the chart in Safe Mode for a while. It may also help to open a chart and SuperDOM side-by-side to compare the pricing on each, as the SuperDOM will always have the most current tick in pricing and will reflect the accurate current price.
