    After disconnecting and reconnecting three times, everything is fine. I am connected via router. My question is, why does this happen some of the time and not all of the time? I have not made any changes to my PC in quite some time so the variables are the same. It may not be possible to connect directly to modem. 4 other machines rely on this connection. They are currently off.

      Please forward me your log and trace file from this morning so I may look into the multiple connections to see if anything looks different when comparing the connection process.

        Do you think this may be a CQG matter? When I connect between 9-9:45 est., and between 16:15-16:45 est, I seem to have this issue. However, if I connect midday or early morning, I have no issues. Router or direct, anti-virus, firewall, etc. off.

          CQG has maintenance from 4:15-4:30 PM EST and outside this time you should not experience any issues receiving data. Can you tell me if you leave NinjaTrader open and running overnight?

            I rarely leave NT on overnight. Normally, I turn off, midday and reconnect before 9:30 est. Should I stay connected?

              You will want to connect each day. Please use the steps I have provided below to change the Merge Policy for the instrument you are seeing this behavior.
              • Tools
              • Instrument Manager
              • Select the instrument
              • Click Edit
              • Definitions tab
              • Merge Policy
              • Set to "DoNotMerge"
              • Click Ok
              • Remove the instrument from your Default list and add it back in

              Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

                So it happens again. I load NT and connect and I am missing all dats from 7:35am est until current price bar. Every time frame, every market. es,ym,nq,6e,cl,etc. Market opens in 4 minutes. When I reload, I lose the all the bars that printed while previously connected and start over at 7:35 am yesterday

                  Please attach a screen shot of your chart. Also when you select "Reload all historical data" do you see data loading in the lower right hand corner of the Control Center?

                        After several disconnect, then reconnects, I now have a complete chart
