The forums was very spotty this AM, mostly inaccessible. Seems to be better now.

            ninjatrader.com access

Hi, I've been trying to get access to ninjatrader.com site without success. It's not the problem of my inet provider cause I could reach the site from another station of LAN with the same provider. Maybe the problem is with some of my software but can't recognize it (I use skype, temviewer 5.0, oper system Windows XP 32 bit. Symantec as a antivirus). Maybe you could help me. When I'm trying to go to ninjatrader.com window with authorization request appear.

            Kind regards
            Alexey

                Alex.Koal,
Have you had any luck with accessing NinjaTrader.com, you might try emptying your cache if you have not already.

Depending on what browser you are using it should be relativity the same

                IE8 -
                1. From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History... .
                2. Deselect (i.e., uncheck) Preserve Favorites website data, and select (i.e., check) Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
                3. Click Delete.

                Firefox
                1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... .
                2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
                3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear (e.g., check Cookies to clear cookies). Click Clear Now.

Please let me know if this works or not.

                  FatCanary,
Nice to hear sounds like we've been removed from some of the ISP blocks. We are also working on a long term fix, using a different provider.

Ninja became a popular word in the financial word so maybe you should change the name

                      Still not working for me.

Can someone post the information about the new update mandatory for iQFeed users? I can't read it or update.

Hi, cunparis - I only just noticed this thread. I have not been able to login to the Ninja website for the last couple of months either. I tried various suggestions from NT, nothing worked.

I setup a Mirus Futures account a couple of months back and one of their tech guys remotely logged into my computer and he tried all sorts of things to reach the Ninja Homepage without success... and my ISP here in The Netherlands can log in... and my old computer would not login even after I reinstalled Windows etc etc.

Rather bad for NT's business, I'd have thought.... and not exactly a priority, it would appear (that is British understatement, btw )

                              jtrade,
I am sorry to hear you cannot access NinjaTrader.com, but as it currently stands somewhere between the internet lines these is a block.
We are working to roll out a permanent fix, so we don't run into this issue.

The only thing I have found to work is if you access http://www.NinjaTrader.com from a proxy. This is a third party work around and only recommended as a last resort. Your Internet browser access another ISP and uses them to access our website.

                              cunparis - jtrader,

Here are the directions for setting it up.

                              1. Access from behind a proxy (temp fix - third party server for access)
                              a. 216.218.211.57:80
                              i. IE –> Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings
                              1. Proxy Server: check "use a proxy server"
                              2. Address: 216.218.211.57
                              3. Port: 80
                              b. Remember to remove when finished, slower internet and some other sites might be blocked.
