How to output value from a custom indicator.

ok here is the deal. i made an indicator that fires at a specific point in time. so not like an moving average or an RSI that seemingly has a value for every single bar.

it much like a strategy, but instead of goin long or short, it just prints a dot over the candle.

if i would want to use this point in time inside the code of an different indicator, how would i tackle that?

In concept i would just give the specfic candle a bool value of true for 1 candle(in the orignal indicator) and then just output that boolvalue with an if (xx=true) in my new indicator.

if it works that way, no clue and even if, how would i manage the cross references and everthing.

    Hello BigRo,

    Thank you for your post.

You can expose variables, such as your bool example. For a reference sample on this please visit the following link: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=4991
