The data is not static. If you are using the data for the current bar then any strategy that uses that data can become invalid. If you want a strategy that doesn't become invalid then create one that uses the previous bars and not the current one. Since it was a previous bar then the data will be valid for that bar.Originally posted by Malletto View Post

Just curious, what kind of results is everyone getting? I tried to run OrderFlowBot on playback w/tick replay and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I do have an OrderFlow+ subscription.
I've tried the following default settings and also 1 for valid bid/ask, running MES 4 range chart, and nothing, nothing in the NS output windows, aside from a message saying it's been enabled.Last edited by Conceptzx; 03-23-2024, 09:33 AM.

Hi WaleeTheRobot
Thanks for the great work
I couldn't import the zip file from git repo
So I downloaded the zip file and unzip
However there is no AddOns folder in my installation path @ D:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom
so I copied the entire unzipped folder and now it shows as under
Then I opened up the ninjascript editor and compiled without any error
however I don't find above either in indicators or strategies
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I think you have it in the wrong AddOns. It should be: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\AddOnsOriginally posted by techiegeek2 View PostHi WaleeTheRobot

It looks like its disabled because you are selecting to enable the backtesting.Originally posted by techiegeek2 View PostHi WaleeTheRobot

I understand them. I was wondering what type of imbalances are being shown through the footprints. Is it bid/ask or delta, or both? Thanks.Originally posted by WaleeTheRobot View Post
This doesn't create the imbalance indicator. If you don't understand imbalances, I suggest you watch some videos on it.

Just switch the volumetric chart to whatever you want to see... If you want to look at a bid/ask then switch it to the bid/ask footprint. If you want to look at a delta then switch it to the delta footprint. Again, this doesn't show you the bid/ask or delta. You need to use NinjaTrader's volumetric bars and select if you want to see a delta or bid/ask.Originally posted by Malletto View Post
