    I was afraid you were going to say that. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid because it takes quite some time to do that once you have a highly customised Ninja work environment.

    I guess I'll have to wait for the next release then (or I'll follow your suggestion if I get bored on a weekend).

      I suspect even on next release you needed to go through these exact same steps. Note: no aspect of your custom setup should be affected by steps below as all your settings/data etc. would be maintained (unless you had 3rd party components installed)

        OK, I got so many error messages that I decided to reinstall everything as per your instructions.

        Unfortunately, the problem is still there.
        I'll send you the log and trace files.

            I removed absolutely everything regarding Ninja from my computer, this has always worked in the past and is equivalent to someone installing Ninja for the first time I guess. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

                - uninstall NT7 via control panel
                - manually remove folder <program files>/NinjaTrader7
                - manually remove <my documents>/NinjaTrader7
                - download and install again NT7B11

                This is to make sure that Ninja is completely removed from my computer.
                Have done this in the past whenever I had issues with various beta versions and it has always worked.

                Right now it's a nightmare as I can't save a Default Template because of Serialisation error messages for pretty much all standard Ninja indicators I use.

                    I uninstalled and reinstalled everything for the second time and in the beginning it seemed to work better, but after a while the same issues reappeared. This is getting very frustrating.

                    Please let me know if you need my logs or anything.

                      Hello loacoon,

                      Can you please follow the instructions below to uninstall/re-install .NET Framework.

                      While NinjaTrader and any other application on your PC is closed, please uninstall .NET Framework up to version 2.0. Start with the latest version first until you reach version 2.0. Do not reboot your PC. You can uninstall .NET Framework via the Windows Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs (XP), Programs and Features (Vista).

                      Download and install .NET Framework 2.0 at the link below.


                      You can re-install the other versions from the following links.

                      .NET 3.0


                      .NET 3.5


                      If .NET Framework is not listed under Windows Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs (XP), please follow the instructions at the link below to repair .NET Framework.

                            NT7B12 will be out pretty soon. I suggest trying that again since as it stands there is no way you could get rid of this problem at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
