Well it's not completely fixed. This serialization problem happens with the indicators that come with NT as well as custom indicators. I just added the VOL indicator and got the same error when I tried to save my workspace.

Hmm .. let's try to isolate.
- please backup any custom indicator and strategy you have. File->Utilities->backup
- uninstall ANY 3rd party software File->Utilities->Remove NinjaScript Assemblies
- uninstall NT7
- manually delete the folder <program files>/NinjaTrader7 (in case it's still there)
- manually delete any file in <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/bin/custom. Just the files, do not touch the directories
- download and install NT7 again
- make sure you don't install any 3rd party assembly

Does this make a difference?

I haven't tried your suggestion yet. I took the rest of the weekend off. However, Monday morning I thought I would try something else before I try your suggestion. NT doesn't export the native indicators so I exported all my custom indicators and then manually added all the NT indicators to the same zip file. Then I imported everything from that zip file. That's all I did. I didn't restart NT or anything. I don't have the serialization problem now. The log doesn't show any errors either.

Same issue as reported earlier in this thread. Everytime I want to save my workspace I get the same error message: "Indicator XYZ could not be deserialised".
This also applies to standard Ninja indicators.

Thanks. Do you have any 3rd party assemblies installed. Please check by File->Utilities->Remove NinjaScript Assembly and remove ANY entry in there.

Great. Than please try this:
- uninstall NT7 via control panel
- manually remove folder <program files>/NinjaTrader7 (if still there)
- manually remove any file in <my documents>/NinjaTrader7/bin/Custom. Please do NOT touch the folders in there
- download and install again NT7B11

Does that make a difference?
