I really appreciate your input thus far, I have never done this before and have added the lines in with notepad which looks like this.

I couldn't get it to work, I attempted it a few different ways + lining up text etc.
I am attempting to edit a 8.0.27.1 skin I don't know if this would make any difference or not, It would be great to know how to do it so when I upgrade to 8.1 I can change it right away.

I appreciate your time and input this far if you could please guide me as to exactly where to add the lines for the change to take place I would appreciate it very much

Maybe you are trying to do this. Remember, you can't see Ninjas at night. They are invisible.

Extract this folder and put the folder NinjaTrader Night in Documents -> NinjaTrader 8 -> templates -> Skins.

If NT 8.1 looks like that with the NinjaTrader Night skin I'll be a very happy camper!!!

When I load in on NT 8.0.27.1 it changes the Slate Gray skin to look just like the 8.1 platform somehow, I've attached a screenshot the Text font has changed a bit I think a size larger and a little fuzzy but I guess this is in the platform itself, I can see on the ControlCentre XAML you've just added the text you stated so not your coding .

I am absolutely not complaining here just pointing out the difference I noticed.

Yes, that is a screenshot of my live 8.1.1.3 installation in my previous post. The only thing I did was what I described above using the files I attached for you. I haven't tested it on 8.0.27.1 - there's a possibility its skins don't support all of the same attributes.

Update: I checked on 8.0.26.x and it is not compatible so most likely this will only work on 8.1.

Update 2: I checked and 8.0 definitely does not support those attributes, so this is only an approach that works for 8.1. When you copy this 8.1 template into 8.0 it will not work in the expected way so don't do that.

Quite to the contrary and completely the opposite. Yes, you can't please everyone, but anyone familiar with Marketing 101 agrees that it is the current happy customer’s feedback and referrals, new ideas, and new products that bring in new customers. No wonder every company is begging for your review in social media to attract new customers. Bad reviews by current users of a product or service can bring down a company very fast.

I am quite sure what you described is not the intention of NinjaTrader to ignore many thousands of current customers. It is their feedback here, in TASC, media, etc. that has advanced NinjaTrader to where they are, at the top of this industry. Look at how active NinjaTrader_Ray is answering current customer's (even those who "hang out" on this forum) concerns himself, and welcomes constructive feedback.

Here is a screenshot of some old logos (simple and non-screaming) in need of re-branding! Really, do they?

For what its worth i like the color (any color is good in my book) and I like orange. But I also pin striped my motor cycle orange so I am biased

I remember having a similar complaint when the logo and colour was changed to the prior version. I don't know why I was worried back then, I soon got used to the new design, and ended up liking it.

I'm sure this new design will also grow on me.

Original colors and graphics are much better for all purposes, for branding, marketing, documents, website, forum, and software applications. In addition to the new graphics being completely needless, unimaginative, and retrograde, going to Hunter Orange also seems quite desperate. Roll it back before everyone's corneas are burned out.

It seems like that could be done if it is important to you. Just take a look at the skin documentation and edit the files accordingly.

Agree, Just updated to 8.1.1.3 from 8.0.27.1 and whilst I have no issues with the new logo. With multiple charts, SuperDOMs and Market Anaylsers open I find the bright red/orange colour backgrouded name labels in upper left of each of the windows highly distracting and emotionally stimulating when as a trader I'm trying to stay focused and as unemotive as possible at all times. Pls leave the bright colours to your webpages and marketing but keep them out of the workspaces.
