sound alert and enter long trade in same set
in my strategy i have after the conditions a sound alert and the entry. some of my strategies aren't executing. is it alright to have the sound alert and the entry in the same set?Tags: None

Hello SteveReiza,
Yes, calling PlaySound and entry orders in the actions of the same set is fine.
Note, the sound will only play for real-time data. Are the entry orders being submitted and filled in real-time data processing?
Are you hearing other sounds from NinjaTrader such as the Order Filled sound?
Do you have the NinjaTrader application muted or set to a low volume in the Windows Volume Mixer?Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

thanks for the reply.
okay sweet. the sounds are playing fine. i just saw i have the timeframe set outside the hours i was looking - hence the reason why those particular trades didn't execute. thanks again!
