sound alert and enter long trade in same set

in my strategy i have after the conditions a sound alert and the entry. some of my strategies aren't executing. is it alright to have the sound alert and the entry in the same set?

Hello SteveReiza,

Yes, calling PlaySound and entry orders in the actions of the same set is fine.

Note, the sound will only play for real-time data. Are the entry orders being submitted and filled in real-time data processing?

Are you hearing other sounds from NinjaTrader such as the Order Filled sound?
Do you have the NinjaTrader application muted or set to a low volume in the Windows Volume Mixer?

okay sweet. the sounds are playing fine. i just saw i have the timeframe set outside the hours i was looking - hence the reason why those particular trades didn't execute. thanks again!
