Is it ok to use Ninjatrader 7? How do I get it? So far I've been unable to get the email orders to work. I'm pretty sure I have it set up exactly the way that is recommended, but I will check again.

When mapping NQ what is correct? The exact TradeStation name is NQM23 or should it be how its in the help file?

Hi, you can install NinjaTrader 7 by logging into your NinjaTrader account here, then clicking Download at the bottom left to get to the Downloads page, but I would recommend staying with NinjaTrader 8+, The email interface works very quickly and I have never seen any of the behavior or proof of what user jeronymite has posted about it:

Hi, you can use both at the same time. This can be tested by using sim accounts on both NinjaTrader and TradeStation and enabling it to see the output.

Hi, this is my TradeStation symbol so my map in Ninja Trader should be NQM23 or Ninja Trader NQ 06-23. I'm confused because the instructions say tradestation bases name which would be NQ but the help file shows the Ninjatrader symbol. I've tried both and so far no trades placed.

Hi NinjaTrader_ChrisL, I have been looking for this email integration (Tradestation to NT) and going through your help portal, Does it only work for TS strategies? For ex. If there is a trade showing up on chart which was triggered manually for buy/sell/close or a trade using API, can those trades also be triggered from TS to NT?

In addition to the email interface, the OIF file interface is an option from TS or any other platform.

Trader guy - I have no clue what you're talking about can you please explain what is OIF file? Tradestation has apps to execute orders through the trader station that places orders in Ninjatrader but it does not work and it crases TradeStation and it's not what I am looking for. I want to be able to place strategy orders from TradeStation directly to NinjaTrader.

Take a look here.

An OIF is a text file with your order commands.
You drop the file into the 'NinjaTrader 8\incoming' folder
and it immediately executes.

Hi, the NTDirect.dll is not longer supported in NinjaTrader 8. The TradeStation DLL interface can only be used in NinjaTrader 7.

In you screenshot, why all the extra crap characters appended
to the URL I posted? Can you remove those?

Got it that screenshot helped so is this how the email sending offer works by creating a text file for the order? Can you give me what the TradeStation code would look like to send the order? I'm asking because it looks like these commands are used for closing orders not opening or modifying them.
