Flatten on strategy start

Is there is a way to manually flatten the strategy position when my script starts up? Phrased another way... is there a way to restrict the script from analyzing the past on startup?

I just want my strategy to start flat every time. Is there a way to do this?

I saw a thread from 13 years ago that said to add the below line to the script but it did not work for me, I get an error stating that the name "Historical" does not exist in the current context

Add this to the top of OnBarUpdate():

In NinjaTrader 8 the syntax is different:

if(State == State.Historical)
return;
