Dear NT Gurus

I am trying to back test a strategy and the results are different when I back test the same strategy after two weeks.

For example:
1. I ran the backtest from Apr 29-Mat 5 on Sunday, 6th the results were say 10 points
2. I ran the SAME backtest from Apr 29-Mat today 10th and get completely different result, say 4 points

I choose exactly the same params, like instrument, start and end date etc. And this happens with different dates too.

Can anyone point me to what Iam missing. Is there any specific rules to follow when back testing?

Backtests are performed on historical data, so any differences in historical data can cause differences in results. It sounds like your end date may have been different on each test. Can you confirm this in
