Market data for the micro futures MYM, MNQ, MES and M2K indices.

I am connected to my ibkr account with ninjatrader8 via the IB Gateway but I was not able to obtain market data for futures contracts. I received this following error message:
Error on requesting bars series: ‘historical market data service error message: No market data permissions for cbot CME FUT’. (error message in attached images)

I would like to trade the micro futures MYM, MNQ, MES and M2K indices.
When I want to subscribe for market data futures I cannot find an indication.

In the attached image I find CME S&P Indices (NP) but also others like NASDAQ..., DJ... and Russell. Should I register only for the CME or should I register for all ?

Please how I can solve this problem.

Thank you for reaching out.

From the instruments you mention, I know that

NQ/MNQ - ES/MES - RTY/M2K : These all are included in the CME exchange.

YM/MYM : These instruments are in the CBOT exchange.

You would need to subscribe to the exchanges that own the products you are going to trade.


The live data you receive once connected, depends on the data enablements for the account. This is something that is controlled on the broker/provider account side.
Since you are an IBKR client, I highly advise you reach out to your broker to make sure you are subscribing to the correct data for your account.
