Can you share the status of the Coinbase connectivity? the Primary connection in the logs keeps disconnecting and reconnection here is a snippet of the logs

Thank you for the note.

When we see messages about "Connection Lost" this normally means that the Internet, Modem/Router, or another program is stopping NinjaTrader from maintaining a stable connection to the necessary servers.

Please know that a connection state between NinjaTrader and your broker/market data vendor is not dictated by NinjaTrader.

• The NinjaTrader application only reports the connection state as it is reported by the API you are connected through.
• NinjaTrader behaves like a radio receiver in that it receives signals from the connected server. If the signals are not coming through, the underlying broker/market data vendor API reports this to the NinjaTrader application which in turn reports this back to you. Once a loss of connection is reported, NinjaTrader or the underlying API will continuously try to re-establish a connection.

Please perform the steps below to troubleshoot the local network and narrow in on what could be causing these network/connection issues. Please restart NinjaTrader after each set of steps and try connecting again.

• Begin by restarting your Modem, Router, and PC to refresh the internet connection.
• Connect your PC directly to the Modem with an Ethernet cable if possible.
• Ensure that NinjaTrader has been allowed through the Windows Firewall on all networks. Please follow along with this infographic:

• Ensure that NinjaTrader has been added to any 'Exceptions' or 'Allowed Programs/Apps' kind of list within your antivirus software.
  • If you need to add NinjaTrader manually, the file path is as follows:
    • This PC > Local Disk (C > Program Files > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > NinjaTrader.exe
• If you are using a VPN, turn it Off
• Clear your DNS
  • Open the Command Prompt by clicking the Windows icon and typing "Command"
  • Select 'Command Prompt'
  • Either copy and paste or type the following command: ipconfig /flushdns
  • Press Enter to make it run

Reopen NinjaTrader and test if the unwanted connection behaviors continue.

If the connection issues continue, please let us know and we will provide some additional steps to narrow in on what is preventing NinjaTrader from connecting to the necessary servers and maintaining a stable connection. If you are still losing connection, you will need to reach out to a Network technician or your Internet Service Provider for further help investigating what is preventing NinjaTrader from maintaining a stable connection to the necessary servers.

The same loss of connectivity is also occurring on a different network, perhaps an issue with the coinbase api?

Any update on this? I am getting similar issues with connecting Coinbase and keep getting disconnected and there is no data seen on Chart. Also I am having similar issues with Tradovate connection and do not see any data. .

Something is going on here...

Around 2:30pm CST I noticed that the Coinbase connection was disconnecting/reconnecting in the logs after seeing the visual indicator going Red then Yellow trying to reconnect.

I also track Coinbase BTCUSD on another site, and they don't have a ticker going either. I switched to Bitfinex on that site, and it works fine. My other charting platform I use Bitfinex, and it doesn't have a problem.

On Ninjatrader now, I get the "Semaphore exceeds maximum amount" message now when I attempt to connect to Coinbase - and it helpfully crashes and exits. I've been running Ninjatrader successfully for a long time, and I have never hit this error before.

I'm on NT v8.1.3.1 on desktop.

There's something going on with Coinbase guys - but I dislike the fact that Ninjatrader can't gracefully handle this. Any ideas? And no, doing the "clean environment" solution isn't going to fix this. This is definitely a connection problem. I was sitting here when the connection started to bounce for Coinbase and everything else was updating just fine (CME Futures via Ninjatrader data feed).

Edit - Just restarted everything and I am now connected to the main Ninjatrader "Continuum" datafeed, but I don't dare try to connect to Coinbase because the platform will crash again. All the futures I watch via this main feed are updating fine.

Hi as its has been more than 24hr without access to the Coinbase connectivity
on the latest version of Ninjatrader and
with multiple persons reporting the same issues with the Coinbase
connectivity not working, i propose you increase the severity of this
incident,
