Please try to repair the NT db. The easiest way to do it yourself is by first closing NinjaTrader, then go into the folder My Document \ NinjaTrader 8 and delete the following two items:Originally posted by RaygunWizzle View PostI was doing some testing the other night and got some order error issues. The orders show as cancel pending, buts its been a couple days and I have restarted several times. How can I clear these out of here?- Delete the entire DB folder

Hello RaygunWizzle,
Thank you for reaching out.
bltdavid's & Vendor_NT_Mobile's suggestions would effectively clear any "stuck" orders on the Sim account.
1. If the order is with the local simulation account(s) , ex "Sim101":
We advise you to reset the simulation account to resolve this problem.
(Resetting a simulation account will delete all historical trading data for this account).
Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account:- From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the "Accounts" tab.
- Right-click on your simulation account and select "Edit Account".
- Press the "Reset" button > Yes > OK.
2. The second suggestion would clear all historical trade execution data.
The following items stored in the old database will be lost - custom Trading Hours templates, custom Instruments/Instrument Lists, historical trade execution data, and saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results
To prevent running into situations where you can potentially lose important data, we advise running regular backups via the built-in Backup feature in NinjaTrader.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Really?
Is this responsible advice?
I would not characterize the deletion
of the entire DB folder as a 'repair'.
That's more like a destroy completely and
then recreate an empty fresh database.
That is not the recommended approach
when dealing with this particular problem.
I caution the OP to carefully consider this
advice, and then to ignore it.
The OP's relatively simple problem doesn't
need this 'nuke it from orbit' style of fixing.
There are considerable gross side effects if
the OP deletes their database folder. To do this
means they lose all historical data and all trade
history -- which is not always necessary or
even desirable.
(Seriously, there are other, more gentle ways that
don't involve the complete annihilation of all historical
data and the complete loss of all trade history
from all accounts, including all live accounts.)
The simple advice to reset the Sim101 account
is the correct solution for the OP's complaint.
Just my 2˘.
