Whenever I refresh the Data my Volume and sometimes the candles change

    Hello Ninja Trader,
I am currently experiencing an issue with the platform, since is showing me erroneous data as the market progresses when is open, I started noticing this on my laptop as well as on my desktop. The data changes when i refresh it on my charts, for example I have attached two pictures showing different volumes after i refreshed the chart just seconds ago, which is messing up my analysis, I'd like some help as to how can i fix this, because not just one device has this issue but two, which i find strange. How can i fix this, so that ninja trader shows me very accurate data, which is vital for my analysis.

    Hello r12Marlon,

    Thank you for your post.

I would like to refresh your chart data and resynchronize your PC Clock using the steps below.
    • Shutdown NinjaTrader
    • Right-click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your desktop
    • Select "Adjust date and time"
For Windows 10, select 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' > 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' > 'Set the time and date'
    • Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
    • Set the server to time.nist.gov and click "Update".
    • If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
    • If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)
For Windows 11, select Sync Now under Additional Settings. We would also recommend enabling your computer to set the time and the time zone automatically if they are not already enabled.

    Then with NinjaTrader still closed:
    • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
    • Delete the sub-folders named 'cache', 'day', 'minute', and 'tick'
    • Restart NinjaTrader
After updating the PC clock and your chart data, reopen NinjaTrader, then right-click in the Chart and select "Reload All Historical Data".
