    all indicators are not working

    Hi

I removed a strategy inside the strategy window and now all my indicators are not working. custom or defaults. helpppppppppppppppppppppp....

Might be due to #AnotherNT8Bug effecting the data.

Some of my indicators and strategies are trashed too due to this documented issue.

I have for both FDAX and NQ, a data issue where by on the 20 Jan they both report the price to be zero. I have closed NT8, cleared the DB>minute/day/tick/replay/cache folders and restarted but the problem stays. I went to Historical Data, and deleted all data for MNQ/NQ + FDXM/FDAX and the problem stays.

All of my Charts have gone crazy today showing false information I have deleted folders DB - Cache, Day, Messages, Minute, Snapshot and Tick. Same issue persists. I have access to 3 data feeds. CQG, Rithmic, and Apex. Have tried all feeds seperately, deleting cache each time, resetting NT8, resetting laptop, minute charts, no

      Hello key39,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Forums!

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
      • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.?.?.?)
      • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
      • Please close down the NinjaTrader platform and then restart NinjaTrader.
        • Then open a blank chart (New > Chart window) with no custom bars types or addons on the chart
        • Try adding the NinjaTrader SMA indicator to the chart, and note the behavior.
        • Does the NinjaTrader SMA indicator appear on the chart when following these steps?
We look forward to assisting further.

          Hello key39,

          Thanks for your notes.

The image you shared is not a blank chart window with no other indicators, strategies, templates, or addons enabled on the chart and I see you are using an old version of NinjaTrader.

Please update to the latest version of NinjaTrader (8.1.2.1) by following the steps below.
          • Shutdown all programs including NinjaTrader *important
          • Download NinjaTrader from the link below
          • Double-click the downloaded file to execute it
          • Follow the on screen instructions
          • Restart NinjaTrader
After updating NinjaTrader to the latest version, connect to your data feed connection and make sure the data feed is connected (green dot in the lower left corner of the Control Center window).

Then open a new blank chart window by going to Control Center > New > Chart. Make sure no indicators, strategies, chart templates, or addons are applied to the chart.

Next, right-click on the chart window, select 'Indicators', add the SMA indicator to the chart, and click OK. Note if the behavior persists.

If the behavior persists, please write in to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with a brief description of the behavior you are reporting and attach your log and trace files to your email by following the steps below.

Follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.
          • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
          • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
          • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
          • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
We look forward to assisting further.
