    Is there a user guide where I can check what's the meaning of each parameter?
    I mean Close, High, Open, Low, Median, Typical, Volume, Weighted.

    You mentioned EMA20 set to calculate "On each tick"... But I think if EMA20 is set to calculate "On Price Change", it's going to work good, do you agree?​

      1. While it is a bit on the technical end, we do have definitions of each of those available in our Help Guide at the link below:



      If you click on each of the price types under the Single Series section, there will be a definition at the top of each page that details how that price type is calculated.

      2. On Price Change will generally be about as effective as On Each Tick. The only time it wouldn't be is if there several ticks in a row at the same price level, since the indicator would not update until a different price was received. With your description of the alert, it doesn't seem like would really have much impact on the way your intended condition would work though.

        Hello Zachary!

        I ask you (Ninja) elaborate a way to save Alert templates.

        Every single day, when I launch Ninja, I notice that some alerts are corrupted.

        I trade 3 instruments (CL GC ES). I use 5 charts for each instrument. 15 charts in total and I use alerts on all of them.
        I have to check chart by chart, alert by alert to check if everything is ok. If not, I have to code everything again...

        It's inadimissible that Ninja doesn't offer a way to create alert templates.

          As I've stated, your vote has already been added to the feature request for having the ability to create a template for alerts. Unfortunately, I have no personal involvement in whether or when that feature gets implemented. As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

          If you'd like to troubleshoot why the alert conditions are not remaining intact, I'd recommend that you contact us via email and we can work with you to see if we can figure out what the cause of the issue is. We can be reached via email at support(at)ninjatrader(dot)com. I'd suggest including a screenshot and description of the issue in your initial email for our representatives.

            Ok, I'll send an email in order to try find out what's going on!

            Another doubt: I trade 3 instruments (CL GC ES). Alert log window show alerts from all 3 instruments in the same window.
            Is it possible to create one window for each instrument? (Tabs)

              Thank you for your response.

              It would only be possible to filter by either Instrument Type, Priority, or Source in the Alerts Log rather than the specific instrument. As a workaround, if you do not already use the priority setting, you could set each of those three instruments to a different priority in the Alert properties and then create 3 tabs, each filtered by a different priority. This would effectively achieve the same ends that you are describing but would be a limited to only three instruments since there are only 3 different priorities.
