Playback market replay loading issues

Why does playback work perfectly one day and not the next. Yesterday I was able to test something by moving the slider day to day back and forth with a strategy for 10 hours straight. Then today I am trying to do the same thing, same data, same chart, etc., and if I even THINK about looking at the slider, playback freezes and grays out. This happens all the time. Actually, THIS happens all the time. It rarely cooperates the way it did yesterday. Why??? This is beyond frustrating. I have the lifetime license, full version.
