NinjaTrader_ChristopherJ ideally I’d like to be able to connect to both. Would selecting a default in the options that I sent help remedy the issue? I can test more next week. Appreciate the help so far.

You have two connections Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage and NinjaTrader correct? If so, to access both accounts connect to Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage first then connected go back to Connections and connect to NinjaTrader second.Originally posted by TradingForTheFutures View PostNinjaTrader_ChristopherJ ideally I’d like to be able to connect to both. I guess nobody has figured how to prevent tick chart data changing all the time after a reload?Originally posted by TradingForTheFutures View PostNinjaTrader_ChristopherJ ideally I’d like to be able to connect to both. I've got my clock synced an NTP server using Dimension 4 Time Sync, a fast gaming PC with an RTX 3080 & 7800x3D. Somehow, I can reload my data then 15-30 minutes later, reload my data again and have my tick chart's candles change again.

Which connection do you initiate first? Since your preferredOriginally posted by TradingForTheFutures View PostI am connected to NT brokerage and Rithmic simultaneously. I have done this for >1 year as well.
connection is None, it probably matters more than you think.

Perhaps you can create order from chaos.
Always perform the same startup actions in the same order.
To wit, here's my approach:
Make sure your NinjaTrader starts up in a blank workspace.
Do not let any connections auto connect at startup.
Since you have two connections,
I recommend you set up a Preferred connection for both Realtime
and Historical in the Options for Market Data, and always connect
to that specific connection first. (You'll have to experiment to judge
which connection is providing better real-time data, but both of your
particular connections are providing the same historical data using
NinjaTrader's own historical data servers.)
Next, after connecting, immediately load historical data manually
using CC -> Tools -> Historical data. This should take a minute
or two at the most.
After the historical data download is complete, now connect to
the second connection.
Finally, open your main workspace for trading.
-=o=-
Whenever shutting down NinjaTrader, first close all workspaces
separately, saving each as needed, leaving only your blank
workspace open, then exit NinjaTrader.
[Btw, if NT crashes, I always edit the '_Workspaces.xml' file so
that only my blank workspace gets opened at startup. Makes
crash recovery faster. Use Notepad to edit the ActiveWorkspace
and OpenWorkspaces tags as necessary.]
These steps (esp the order of these steps) will help to start
NT with the current and correct data as quickly as possible.
Just my 2˘.
