Hey everybody
temporary workaround is this - delete Minute data from Historical Data for 20th and 21st August 2023 for your symbol and press F5 on the chart. For Daily charts you will have to Exclude these days in Day data as well. This will keep the charts correct until you reload all data during changing end date or chart length in Ctrl-F.

After contacting ninjatrader about this problem over a few email here is there reply to me Just had a conversation with the development team.
Specifically for the date of August 21st, all servers lost forex data from FXCM and were backfilled from another source.
Since forex markets are not centralized - volume doesn't accurately show all volume to the instrument.
I understand this is not the answer you are looking for but this cannot be resolved.
Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with.
Sincerely,
Luis H.

Hi bobthecat
I do not understand why it is not resolvable. It is all about two days of data and the problem is clear - just deleting the zeroes from the volume information to get to format of other data. There is no need to be superaccurate, these days are hidden behind other days, so the only need is to vipe out the damage of every other days. This is a one hour work for a programmer. https://app.screencast.com/Pxz603HQABUZF

With market data being backfilled from a different source we do not expect to revisit this data. I want to re-emphasize that since forex markets are not centralized data will differ from each provider.
Thank you.

As a long term user of Ninjatrader, since early Ninjatrader 7 days, I find the significant drop in professionalism and quality of service truly saddening!

Hello there,
his problem is very bothersome and it takes a lot of time to repeatedly correct the Historical data manually almost every day. Why do you refusing to solve this triviality Ninja? The problem is very very simple and well delimited - to divide two days of FX data provided by FXCM connection by 100 000. That simple. 20th August 2023 https://app.screencast.com/aBm9O5o2eTGO1 and 21st August 2023 https://app.screencast.com/7YM0DHc1MF5cm times all FX pairs. Such thing is basic matter of a good customer care, don't you thik so?

important addition - the corrupted subsequent data presentation is not a matter of a few days or weeks, it is for years! And then still each time people go with charts into the past to see the history. Do you understand the situation of trader, that goes from 2025 back 2 years and all yearly, weekly and daily volume profiles will be broken?Originally posted by dshalom9 View PostHello there,

So, today I almost placed a trade based on an area my indie shows me of poor structure some months back. Fortunately, in looking at it further, I realise it's Ninjatrader's broken historical data from 8th June on the CFD indexes.
So, well done Ninjatrader. You now have people making important financial decisions based on data that is not even valid. I find it astounding you do not fix this.
Original post/report here https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...orical-servers
How can you expect people to use your platform if you are knowingly serving bad data?

Well, I woke up to NO data for some instruments such as NAS100 on Ninjatrasder historical data servers since the close last night. Thought it might be a chart glitch, so, clear the cache, fiddled around restarting and reloading chart data for 15 minutes. Nope. Nothing. Switch to FXCM historical data, restart, and it's all there. Slow as hell of course, but all there.
I don't know what the hell is going on at Ninjatrader towers and all this, but it's no way to start a working day. Time for a change.
