Error message when trying to load NT8

My computer updated and I am unable to load NT8. This is the message I received:


A previous post was instructed to delete 3 custom files: Documents - NinjaTrader 8 - bin - Custom.
I was able to delete 2 except for NinjaTrader.Custom.dll

Follow up - I was able to get it running by changing settings in One Drive. Still doesn't explain why it happened in the first place with the Windows Update.

The error typically indicates an application on your computer accesses/blocks/scans files in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 folder. Make sure to configure your anti-virus software or other application (automatic backup software for example), so that none of the files in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 folder would be accessed/blocked/scanned.

The error can also be caused by a Windows update and/or Windows Defender that set the Windows security setting of "Controlled Folder Access" to "On".

• Please search in Windows for "Controlled Folder Access".
• Click on "Controlled Folder Access".
• Turn "Controlled Folder Access" to Off

Perhaps the update is what enabled one drive here blocking read/write access to files while syncing?
