New Computer, New NT8 Installation, won't open

Hi, so I have a new desktop Dell. Downloaded NT8 and when I click on it, it won't open. I uninstalled McAfee. That didn't do anything. I went to documents>NinjaTrader8>properties and the Read Only is checked. However, unchecking it, applying and then applying to this folder, subfolders and files then saving doesn't keep it off. If I go back to look at it, the read only button is still checked. Could that be the reason nothing happens when I click on the NT8 Icon?
I have no idea what to do. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for posting.

The box "Read only" will return to being checked once returning to this folder, therefore this is expected. So I may look into this further please send an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.

In the message, please include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.
2.) A copy of your log and trace files.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as an attachment in your email
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
