    Login issue

    Is there a problem with logins today, or is it just my account?

    Everything was working fine for me yesterday, but this AM I got login failure when attempting to open the Ninjatrader connection in the desktop app. My Apex connection was also broken.

    I contacted support via email, and was told to delete both connections in my desktop app and set up a new Ninjatrader one. I then got kicked out due to "too many failed login attempts".

    They were going to call me, but that was over an hour ago and they've gone dark in email. Today is a write-off off due to Ninjatrader's support, and it's still not working. What is going on?

      OK thanks. Finally got it fixed. They had disabled my NinjaTrader Continuum connection, and I had to connect to the generic NinjaTrader instead (using my NT logon, rather than the Continuum one). I don't know why they did this change, or why it would also have broken my Apex connection.

      It was a frustrating experience, a heads-up would have been nice.

        Is NT Continuum no longer allowed?

          Thank you for your response.

          NinjaTrader Continuum connections are still available. With that said, for people using the new NinjaTrader Desktop (8.1), we do recommend using the new NinjaTrader connection instead.

            I was forced to make the change, there was no recommendation involved. Had to do the same thing with my Laptop, which was also working just fine using the Continuum login on Monday.

              Ah okay, that makes sense for 8.1. Not sure why you'd want to use Continuum on 8.1 when already going through the hassle of the new login popup anyway

                Unfortunately, I can't speak to your case directly, as I was not the team member that resolved this for you. However, we have not forced anyone to cease using their NinjaTrader Continuum usernames. As far as I can tell, your NinjaTrader Continuum username is still active. If you would prefer to use that for whatever reason, you should certainly be able to still do so. Our NinjaTrader Continuum connection guide is available at the link below;



                If you are having trouble with the password, it can be reset from directly within your Account Dashboard using the first set of steps on the following page;



                Please make sure that, when you configure the connection, you do not enable items such as WebAPI or Demo Mode. If you have any trouble with the connection, feel free to contact our Client Services team via email or by going to Help > Email Support in the platform and sending a request to Client Services team for assistance.
