    TWS interactive brokers

    With interactive brokers TWS version 10.22 it does not work for me it appears "loading".
    In the underlined part, what should I put, this API is not updated on your website.
    With version TWS 981 I have no problems​

    Hello Gibranes,

    The supported version, 10.19.1k, can be downloaded from the connection guide.


    The settings need to match what is in the connection guide.

      The same thing happens, and the picture in the guide does not correspond to the version.

        Hello,

        Are you getting an error message?

        If so, please provide a screenshot of the error message.

        Also, please provide screenshots of the connection settings in NinjaTrader, as well as the version number of TWS so we may verify you have uninstalled 10.22 and installed the supported version.

          The error message is loading and do not uninstall any version of TWS, folders are added with each version and from there the exe is called.

              Hello Gibranes,

              May I have a screenshot of the Accounts tab of the Control Center to see if you are connected?

              I would like the screenshot to have the first column showing the connection dot showing, the second column with the connection name showing, however you can compress the Display Name / Name column to hide the account name.

              Are you able to open a new chart with only 5 days to load and see this load correctly?

              Do you see real-time data in Chart Trader (meaning the bid and ask is changing)?

                  Hello Gibranes,

                  This is good, it does appear the connection established successfully.

                  To confirm, these instruments are not delayed in TWS?


                  I'd like to also ensure that you are not hitting the maximum download limit.


                  Please close all open workspaces and save a blank workspace with no charts.

                  Delete all historical data in the Tools -> Historical data window.

                  Then shutdown NinjaTrader and run the repair from the 8.1.1.3 installer (or update if you are not on the latest version).


                  Last, restart NinjaTrader, connect, and open a new chart with no template applied (select <none> from the drop-down), with only 5 days to load. (be sure not to open any saved workspaces and please do not add any indicators to the chart)


                  If the data is still unable to load on the single new chart, I will have you send an email to our support so that we can start a case and schedule a call.

                    It does not work. When starting with version 981 it shows loading, with other versions nothing appears

                        Support is not responding. Before, a ticker was immediately created when I sent an email, now it's not. It is as if the emails do not arrive, I use a gmail account.

                            Hi NT Staff

                            There is an announcment that have to upgrade to either 8.0.28.0 or 8.1.1.6 by 26 June 2023.

                            Upgraded as per request but face similar issue with 8.0.27.1, 8.0.28.0 & 8.1.1.6 that historical & live data (futures, forex, cfd) are not downloading from IB TWS 10.19.1k, while 8.0.27.0 works with IB TWS 10.19.1k & TWS 10.19.1n.
                            Tried to change the 'Send instrument-specific attributes for dual-mode API client in' setting in TWS ,but does not help.

                            There are other users facing similar issue
                            Hi! good morining! i have IB as a broker and data connection and the data is not updating in real time , the charts get frozen when you connect. i think NinjaTraber is requesting data to IB using a wrong symbols. i'm getting this messages on the Log even thought the symbol mapping is correct for IB... can you please support

                            Installed latest NT 8.1.1.6. Installed IB 10.19.1k as directed. Filled in data for existing charts. Do not know about updating as markets are closed. Tried to bring up new charts. Message &quot; Loading &quot; will not go away. No data filled in. Tried several. Gave lots of time to load. Still empty.

                              Mine too.

                              Nearly 3 months it been broken.

                              Support tried to assist, but we're unable to fix it.

                              Now full ghost mode.



                              Hello, Can someone point out what i have done wrong here? I solved this problem about 2 years ago, but a new install has landed me in the same situation, and i cant for the life of me remember how to fix it. I remember it was something to do with timezones. I have NT setup with the datafeed from IB TWS Application. Data feed
