    Ninjatrader just CRASHES after login . Help!

    Hey everyone I really need some help here. I trade using a propfirm called apex
    Basically, apex has been using tradovate to integrate with tradingview. The old accounts + the new accounts from apex can only be seen through ninjatrader new version NT8. Bc tradovate only works with the new ninjatrader version.

    But I'm going crazy here. I need both ninjatrader and replikantoto work with apex and I have tradovate acc. The ONLY version for Tradovate to correctly integrate is the 8.1 version to work so multiprovider is on. This is necessary for replikanto to work so you can trade multiple acc. This is also necessary so all apex's accounts can be properly seen.
    Here comes the problem. Many people like me started this saga bc the moment you install the new version it kills the previous version meaning you WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR old accounts with apex if you don't manage to get this 8.1 version to work.

    For some reason once you install ninjatrader it just keeps crashing after you log in.
    ​ The process dies and no error is shown. You basically can't log in. I have a virtual server with google clouds and previous 7 version was just playing fine but this new version is a mess. I don't get why you guys just decided to kill multiprovider mode since everybody needs this to see our old rithmic accounts with the new tradovate acc from inside ninjatrader 8.1 version.! Any help here would be greatly appreciated. The only version I could install doesn't have the multiprovider mode and I can't even create a connection without this mode on.

    We didn't kill Multi Provider, it just needs to be enabled from within the Tools > Options menu. However, if you are unable to open the platform after logging in, that is preventing you from being able to enable it. Are you able to launch the platform in 'Safe Mode' successfully?

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    ​If you are able to launch in Safe Mode, please go to Tools > Options and enable 'Multi provider'. After enabling Multi provider, try once again to restart the platform and let us know if it continues to fail.

      Hello , I cannot login in the new version of Ninja trader (8.1.2) , I complete the fields , user y password and simply do nothing. I tried install and install few times and nothing hapens. I want some help here . ! have Windows 10 .

        Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

        May I confirm you are able to sign in to the Client Portal using the exact same username and password you are typing into the Desktop platform?

          I am having the same problem. Created a thread but no response from support. My system displays the login screen for Ninja on 8.1 and appears to accept my login.
          After login nothing happens... screen disappears.

          I am able to sign into client portal using exact same credentials. If the OP does not provide data I can .....

            1. Are you able to login to the Account Dashboard website without issue?

            2. Have you received and approved the 2FA email for NinjaTrader Desktop when you are attempting to login?

            3. Are you able to login when you open the platform in Safe Mode using the steps above?

            If not, I'd like to take a close look at what's going on in your platform. Please make sure to send over your log and trace files from within the platform by going to Help > Email Support and provide a description of the issue that you are experiencing.

              Today an IT guy from ninjatrader tried to help me and I want to thank Ninjatrader for trying to help me. He said it was a problem with the dotnet update. And he told me to update here at https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/d...ramework/net48 and I did. The problem is the problem persists. It was not the dotnet thing.
              I really don't know what to do. Like the other people posting above there are many more that can't log in for some reason. The process dies. It's a mystery.

                For the Apex tradovate account, I log into the NT Desktop using the APEX_xxxx login. But you won't be able to see the Rithmic account because the APEX account doesn't have the Rithmic license. I don't know if there's a to see both the Apex Tradovate account and Apex Rithmic account at the same time in the same NinjaTrader instance.

                  Were you working with a technician via the forums or were you working with someone via email? If you have not already, please send us your diagnostic files so we may further investigate this behavior. You may send us your log and trace files from the platform by going to Help > Email Support.                     The latest version of NinjaTrader does not use license keys. You may migrate a license key as mentioned in step 2 of the connection guide here:Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

                      Are you saying that it's possible to log into Apex Tradovate account and Apex Rithmic account at the same time in a NT desktop instance?

                        A miracle just happened!! I made it and installed ninjatrader with a tradovate account. Man that was hard. I've been trying to do it for 3 weeks. I wasn't able to trade it was a mess. Ok what happened was that I had a very nasty dot.net problem and the computer wasn't allowing me to update this thing. Finally I got tired and here is what i did: I craeted a new virtual instance. It solved almost all problems.
                        Now here comes the final problem. Apex told me to create a username with ninjatrader so I can use this propfirm to trade. And I imported my licence to that username. Suddently somethign changed and after I finally installed my ninjatrader and I saw my accounts yesterday something happened. Now I can log in but I can only see my seem acc. I tried to upload the ninjatrader's licence again but it won't let me. What should i do?

                          Yes @backtester831​ it's possible bc I did it you can actually see both your rithmic and tradovate acc it's awesome It's a pity it lasted a few min and i had to sleep. Today when i restarted the computer I had another this issue above.

                            NinjaTrader_Emily Please advise how to log into Apex Tradovate account and Apex Rithmic account at the same time with the NinjaTrader Desktop?
                            I've tried everything I can think of, and can't get both accounts to show up.

                              This is awesome, I got this. It has to do with the connection. Once you delete the connection an create another one you get to see all your acc from rithmic and tradovate as long as you use your ninjatrader's username and not the one provided by a propfirm like apex.
