Two NT License Keys - How to handle

I have interpreted this thread and other threads about this subject to mean that ALL connections that existed and worked in 8.0 are NOT the new adapter. But it's good that these questions are being asked expliclty. We really need to understand how these things are going to work as this is all quite new to everyone and it would be easy for me or anyone else to make an assumption that turns out to be mistaken if nobody has laid it all out clearly.

If you have installed 8.1 and are using multi-provider mode, you can check your connection settings by clicking on Connections>Configure and select your configured connection. I've highlighted in the attached screenshots how to tell if an existing connection is setup to use 'My NinjaTrader' (new) or 'My NinjaTrader Continuum (old). Both connections should function to connect to your account, however 'My NinjaTrader' will be using the new adapter which has some additional features such as server side commissions and ATMs, additional sign on options, etc.

Thank you, Ryan. That explains how we can quickly tell the difference.
For those of you who can't see these attachments, since image attachments appear to be broken in general and not just on this post, right-click on the thumbnail and choose "Open ilink n a new tab". Don't choose "Open image in a new tab" or you will only get the thumbnail.

Hello. I have Lifetime License Key and Combine License Key and want to functionality enablements of both imported to my User. But on my NT 8.x Account which is LIVE, there is NO configuration option to enter a second Combine License Key

Ryan. Yes. I have a support question which states this:
My NT 8.1 is working but no LIVE on the NinjaTrader Desktop. The Account Plan has no option for Import a Key. I have a Combine Key that I need to import into platform to begin trading. There is no visible Import Key on my Account Plan Dashboard. How can I apply my Combine Key to my account in NinjaTrader Desktop? My Lifetime License is only for platform, but my trading requires the Combine Key into my Account on NinjaTrader Desktop.

Hello aidatasmart,
When logging into the platform, once open you can enable 'multi-provider' mode under the Tools>Options>General menu. You can then configure a connection to your combine account under Connections>Configure after restarting. Please follow the connection instructions provided by the particular combine you are using.
If you are still unable to see an option to create this connection you may need to write into our support team so we can add this enablement to your account manually.
