    Trouble viewing images attached to forum posts

    I need help.

    When I come across a forum thread with attached images,
    like this one, I have a devil of a time trying to actually view
    the images.

    I've tried these browsers,
    Firefox 110.0.1 on Windows 11
    Edge on Windows 11

    They all exhibit the same frustrating behavior.

    I made a video,


    This problem is not recent, I have struggled with it (in
    silence) for awhile now. But now I want help.

    Is it just me or do others have the same trouble?

    What am I doing wrong?

      Wow, apparently NinjaTrader has crappy web forum software
      and knows it ... but doesn't know how to fix this issue?

      Geez, and I thought I was the only one.

      NT Support, what is the status of this problem?

        Hi, I emailed out forum admins to ask the status of this image view being fixed. Ill post here once I receive an update.

          Hi Chris, you know your signature with the Order Flow learn more link goes to a page not found error? Also signature has the old logo

            They've changed URLs all over the place, but forgot to update hyperlinks, attachments and images. The same problem is with references to the documentation page. Such as the link in the second post here:

              Thank you for letting me know. I will see if our IT team can redirect when old links are accessed and correct the forum signatures for NinjaTrader employees.

                It might also be worth letting IT know that Email notifications about responses to posts from the Ninjatrader forums are coming through with an almost 24 hour delay.

                    Hi David, I do not have access to the IT ticketing system so I can not provide any updates, but the issue has been reported.

                      That's very strange for a Support organisation. After all, Support is about receiving requests and incidents that are then recorded in a "ticketing system". That recording system then acts as a control for managing resolution of those requests and incidents. For any Support person to not have access to that information seems really bizarre, frankly. How can Support be expected to offer "best practice service" to customers if it cannot see what has been recorded about the issues that they (Support) are supposed to be resolving? Keeping this "shielded" from Support will surely frustrate their best efforts at customer support, and thereby frustrate customers. Surely NinjaTrader management can see that?

                          Hi, I was able to find this in our issue tracker ID# NT-1319. It is still under review, and I am not sure if this ID will show up in the release notes. But be assured the web team is going to fix this.
