Can you confirm the account is in a current position?

Yes, they were, and right now I believe the only one we have to look at is the 'Excess Initial Margin' value, when this is < 0 you will get the margin call. (this is off course on NT brokerage, I also have Interactive Brokers, they do show the 'Look ahead margin'.

I understand this is not all as easy, but on the other hand, it should be. The more K.I.S.S. you will get into the 'admittingly, overly complicated material' the better for the consumer.
