(1) When you type the credentials and hit Enter or click to log in, there is a PAUSE while it contacts the server before it continues. During this pause, which lasts from 1/2 second to several seconds, there is no visual indication that the button was clicked (no color change or depression indicated), so it is unclear if it is doing anything. If there is a network issue e.g. device wandering in and out of wifi range etc. there is no indication it is doing anything or whether it will ever succeed or fail.
(2) If you mistype the credentials and click to log in, it displays a message, but if you then type the credentials again incorrectly, the same message remains displayed, so it is unclear to the user if it has been rechecked.
(3) It would be advantageous to support a "Remember me" checkbox for this screen. At the very least, it should allow you to remember the username. Still, it should allow you to remember all of the credentials - ESPECIALLY in the scenario where you are running a sim license (as is typical for additional machines used in support of live trading - for instance, devices used just for charting, etc.) because there is no plausible reason to try to "protect the funds" in this case. I realize the compelling business case is for customers to trade live and generate revenue. Still, please understand that it frequently takes more than one machine or device to do this. There is no reason to require this level of security on machines that are not trading live because they are in a supportive role e.g., optimization, charting, research, etc. (See also https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...ord-every-time).
Thank you for considering these issues.
