    NinjaTrader installation failed in Azure Windows365

    I'm trying to install ninja trader in azure windows365 virtual desktop but installation is keep getting failed. My machine is 64 bit but don't know why latest ninja trader version is failing.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you for your post.
    I am not yet sure if this is a compatibility issue.
    When seeing this error in a local installation of Windows, we recommend installing all available updates in Windows Update and re-downloading the installer file in case the file is corrupted.
    Please try to take these steps and let us know if the error persists.

      Thanks for your reply. It is a branch new virtual desktop and just got created last night, so it must be having all latest. I tried again and still having the same issue.

        Just an FYI .. personally I would not count on that. Why not go execute Check for Updates on the Virtual Desktop

          Yes, I tried updates already. It updated only antivirus and still having same issue.

              Next, I suggest that you use the 'Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter' from the following Microsoft support page:
              https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d

              bltdavid also makes a valid suggestion; please ensure that you have the latest version of .NET Framework 4.8 installed.

                I troubleshooter and ninja trader wasn't listed in the list so it didn't help.

                I also tried to install .net framwork 4.8 but it is already installed. Please find attached screenshot. Is it possible to try any other way?

                  Perhaps it is possible to run the installer in compatibility mode.

                    I tried compatability troubleshooter but still same error. Please find attachment. Is there anyway I can connect with platformsupport team over the call? I sent an email but no response yet.

                        Thank you for your message.

                        This appears to be an issue with a missing file on your machine. I see that one of my colleagues has offered to check for the latest Windows updates - if this was unable to be resolved I recommend getting in contact with a PC technician for further assistance.

                        As this is outside our scope of support, I think you'd find more value in getting a direct answer than us trying to guess what the issue could be.
