Not Seeing New Commission Rates After Updating Commission Template

Hello,

I'm not seeing the 5 cent increase in the commission for equities, even after doing a database update of the commission templates. Is there something else I need to do to have commissions accurately reflected on trades in SIM or Playback?

In the meantime, I have manually updated the commission template, but doing a DB update currently retrieves outdated server definitions that will reverse my updates.

Hello Zerman,

The 3 default commission templates don't have commissions defined for stocks.

I suggest to create a brand new commission template for this. You can find instructions at the link below.

Once you create the template, please select it for the simulation account. Right click the account in the Control Center-->Accounts-tab and select 'Edit Account'. Select the commission template and click OK.

Please note that commission is only calculated for trades that happen after you configure a commission template for the account.

Sorry I was unclear Jason. I was referring to equity futures, specifically ES.

The default commission templates don't have the new commission rates. I will notify my superiors to update this information.

For now, I suggest to create a new commission template.
